ROCKAWAY SWING BEACH PARTY IS BACK!
Join us for a full day of surf, sun, style, and swing! The beloved annual tradition is back 2x this summer (July 11th & Aug 8th)... full of joy, music, and dancing on famous Rockaway boardwalk. But this time with a Dance Floor on both dates!
Bring your sturdy outdoor dancing shoes Don your finest vintage or retro beachwear, your drippiest cruise wear, coastal grandma linens, or just come as your best self! We can't wait to see you at the beach!

12:00pm — Surf Hang & lesson
Paddle out to start the day! If you are a beginner, the crew at Skudin Surf (Beach 67th St) is on hand to guide y'all and share the stoke. Please DM Oleg directly if interested in lessons.
1:00 to 4:00pm — Afternoon Beach Picnic Hang at Beach 97th
Chill, mingle, swim, spike ball, and fuel up for the evening. Bring snacks, water, and your best beach vibes! (contact point: TBA)
* 4:00 to 9:00pm — Swing Dance Party
at Beach 97 Concession, featuring DJ Andrius between band sets. Rented 18x18ft dance floor!
* 5:00 to 8:30pm / live swing band
3 sets by the ROCKAWAY ALL-STARS of infectious swing, soulful brass, and feel-good rhythms featuring some of fav musicians: Evan Hamaguchi (reeds & vocals), Michael Cruse (tpt & vocals), Luis Salceda (gtr), Ian Hutchison (bs), Patrick Soluri (dr) // guest singers: Svetlana and Kay Lewis
* 7:15pm — Sunset Swimsuit Revue

This event is FREE and open to all, but we strongly encourage everyone who attends to show appreciation and donate at least $10 to support our live musicians and cover event costs.
