Press

TIME OUT NY
"Were you a flapper or a dandy in a past life (or did you just buy some killer Gatsby-esque vintage duds that you've been dying to find an excuse to wear)? Then go where both the roaring '20s and the dead come back to life at The Salons annual retro nouveau bash: three floors and three different strains of throwback music (swing, blues, and hot jazz), provided by both live bands and DJs for all you ghouls in monocles and demons in sequin dresses to boogie down to."

TIME OUT NY
"The retro nouveau lovers of the Salon.. transform it into their own tantalizing Twilight Zone for this annual classy Halloween bash... Don't gentleman ghouls deserve a proper place to party?"

WALL ST JOURNAL
"Haunted Jazz, Spooktacular Stomps for Halloweekend - This Halloween night... the Salon presents a spooktacular multiple-band, all-night extravaganza starring that cadaverous clarinetist Dan 'Leatherface' Levinson and his Hot Phantoms, featuring that swinging spook, Ms. Molly 'The Murderess' Ryan..."

TIME OUT NY
"...With jazz crooners getting the crowd rolling, you'll feel right at home doing the Charleston with the undead."
