THE SALON: Halloween Stomp (2016)
On October 31, 2016 Prohibition Productions presented our 4th annual THE SALON: Halloween Stomp in a myriad of rooms and floors filled with curiosities and infernal hot jazz n' swing music. We invited guests to lounge and dance amongst sexy spirits, demonic dandies and fiendish flappers.
The 3rd Floor, “Haunted Rooftop” featured swing music by Dan Levinson’s Bogeymen with Molly Ryan and DJ VaVa Voon. The Gordon Webster Blues Quintet and DJ Odysseus Bailer kept the blues hot in the the 2nd Floor, "Infernal Red Room" and the 1st Floor, “Chandelier Room" featured the always amazing, Baby Soda Jazz Band and DJ Lainey Silver.
Burlesque n' GoGo by Calamity Chang, Dandy Dillinger, Kita St Cyr and Velvetina Taylor throughout the evening, plus, MC'd by the lovely Velvetina Taylor, a dance performance by The Bathtub Ginnys, beginner swing dance lesson by Odysseus, beginner blues dance lesson from by Shawn Hershey and Laura Chieko and a Costume Contest with great prizes!
